Ebbs and flows

The patterns of something coming in abundance and fleeting before you've had a chance to fully grasp what it was while it was there seems fitting for the wolves of WBNP. For instance, though it may seem like this wolf is swimming in a lake, this is simply the result of the spring thaw flooding what will be a dry meadow in a matter of months. Before the wolf knows it, it'll be covered in over a meter of snow. Then back to flooded. The ebbs and flows, all supporting a vast community of wildlife in one of the most special National Parks in the world.
