The Rockies

One of the most iconic Canadian destinations, The Rocky Mountains. They are one of the younger mountain ranges in the world and meaning they have had less time to erode and become smooth. This helps give them their iconic jagged peaks and edges that attract so many visitors. Aside from the tourists, this landscape is also an ideal destination for countless wildlife species ranging from Grizzly Bears to Golden Mantled Ground Squirrels. Moving to Edmonton gave me the opportunity to visit this incredible landscape regularly and I'm happy to share some of the encounters I've had while there. - B.S.
